This beautiful flower has lived with me now for over 15 years. It faithfully blooms every year and allows us to share in its beauty. Among its many names also known as Belladonna Lily or Naked Lady,. Originally a native to the western cape region of South Africa. The name Amaryllis is taken from a shepherdess in Virgil’s pastoral Eclogues.
